Día de los Muertos
Every November, our building would celebrate Día de los Muertos with an altar and event. With none of the other involved being Latina and my family not really celebrating it, we made sure to do a lot a research to be respectful of the holiday and its symbolism.
Goal: Honor Día de los Muertos and educate people about its indigenous roots, significance and how it’s celebrated in Mexico
